funding eligible.

Eligible students enrolled through participating Pathway of Purpose partner-school programs may qualify to use federal student aid, including Federal Pell Grant funding, toward VR Trades training.

Funding is not guaranteed. Eligibility and award amounts are determined from the FAFSA form, federal requirements, the eligible school and program, enrollment status, and each student’s circumstances.

01 TRAIN FOR WORK THAT MATTERS

The country needs
skilled hands and ready minds.

Homes, hospitals, businesses, factories, infrastructure, and the power grid all depend on the skilled trades. As systems grow more sophisticated and experienced workers retire, employers need a new generation ready to step forward.

VR Trades creates an accessible first step—bringing realistic career training to students before they enter a jobsite, lab, apprenticeship, or behind-the-wheel environment.

02 IN-DEMAND CAREER PATHS

Build skills the world
cannot run without.

These careers support the systems people use every day and offer pathways into meaningful, practical work.

03 WHY VIRTUAL REALITY WORKS

See it. Practice it.
Understand it.

Immersive learning turns abstract instruction into an experience. Students can engage multiple senses, repeat tasks, and practice in a lower-pressure environment before applying skills in the physical world.

01

Learn by Doing

Step inside realistic work scenarios and connect instruction to action instead of relying only on lectures or pages.

02

Practice More

Repeat procedures, revisit difficult steps, and build familiarity in a controlled training environment.

03

Remember the Process

Visual, spatial, and hands-on cues can make complex sequences easier to understand and recall.

04

Build Confidence

Arrive at hands-on training with more context, stronger vocabulary, and a clearer picture of the work ahead.

Learning differently is not a limitation.

For students with dyslexia, attention challenges, processing differences, or other learning disabilities, visual and interactive instruction can help overcome barriers created by text-heavy classrooms. VR offers additional ways to see, hear, repeat, and practice a task at an individual pace. It does not erase a disability or replace needed accommodations—but it can open another door to understanding.

VR CDL PREPARATION

Make physical driving time
come to life.

Our VR CDL pathway helps students prepare for the CDL knowledge test while becoming familiar with vehicle controls, inspections, road awareness, decision-making, and commercial-driving scenarios.

VR does not replace required behind-the-wheel instruction. It gives students context before they climb into the cab—so physical driving time can feel more familiar, focused, and productive.

NATIONAL CREDENTIALING

Training connected to
a recognized standard.

All LOOP VR Trades programs use certifications from NOCTI, a national provider of career and technical education credentials and industry-based assessments. Students do more than complete lessons—they work toward credentials that document what they know and can do.
